The movie was released in the U.S. November 21, 2012 and directed by Ang Lee. The main character was portrayed by Suraj Sharma. I give this movie 4 1/2 stars because although the movie was really good and the details and graphics were on point, the movie was lengthy and a little hard to follow. I had to watch the movie twice. This movie was groovy and deserved to 4 academy awards it received!

The Conjuring....a horrifying illusion
(Photo from www.wallscheatsheet.com)
This rated R movie was released July 19, 2013.The Conjuring is a American supernatural horror film directed by James Wan. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson star as Ed and Lorraine Warren who were American paranormal investigators and authors associated with prominent cases of haunting.
For starters, I AM NOT A FAN OF HORROR FILMS! this movie, moreover did not invite me to the club. I was terrified from beginning to end and expressed it constantly in the movie theaters. The fact that it is indeed based on a true story gave me more confirmation on my I wholeheartedly dislike horror movies!
However, the director James Wan and the writers Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes really captured the daunting and eerie vibe that most horror films as such give to its audience. It almost felt as if you were in the home and you experienced first hand the paranormal phenomenon. I couldn't remove my hands from my face watching this movie; I was too afraid of what was going to pop up on the screen.
Likewise, this movie did what it was written and set out to do...SCARE THE LIVING HECK OUT OF ME!!! so with that I give this movie 5 stars!

Save me Hercules!!!
( Photo from www.awn.com)
The movie Hercules starring Kellan Lutz, Scott Adkins, Liam McIntyre, Liam Garrigan, Johnathon Schaech, Roxanne McKee, Gaia Weiss, Rade Serbedzija was released Jan.10, 2014. This PG film captivated the 3D graphics but also reinvented the Hercules cartoon movie we know and love. In the epic origin story The Legend of Hercules, Kellan Lutz stars as the Demi-god Greek hero – the son of Zeus, a half-god, half-man. Betrayed by his stepfather, the King, and exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love, Hercules fights his unique reality that his father is indeed Zeus and disregards his true destiny. Through gruesome battles and gladiator-arena death matches, Hercules embarks on a legendary journey to overthrow the King and restore peace to the land.
I must say initially I was not interested in seeing the movie due to my lack of interest in the advertisement. However, I was encouraged to go see this movie and BOY AM I GLAD I DID! The story line and perfect since and the graphics were.. how should I say this.. AWESOME! yes, at first glance, the movie has some similarities to the move "300" but if you pay close attention.. It's obviously two different story lines Come on people! just like most movies it contained romance, fights, the quest to fight one's true identity and so on and so forth, on the other hand you have to give credit where its due: this is one of few movies to have successfully remade an animated movie...So Bravo Renny Harlin I tip my hat to thee!
